‘Law & Order: SVU’ Star Christopher Meloni Headed to ‘Superman’

Christopher Meloni sent Law & Order: SVU fans into a tailspin when it was announced he was leaving the popular NBC series but it appears as though he’s already rebounding just fine. Meloni is currently in talks to star in Superman flick Man of Steel, but it’s still not clear which role he’s considering. The film will be directed by Zack Snyder while Henry Cavill is set to star as Superman, and Amy Adams to be Lois Lane. Other stars attached to the project include: Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Russell Crowe, Julian Ormond, and Michael Shannon. Man of Steel is also being produced by Inception and Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan.
